The Metro Development Program is a key pathway initiative offered by Wanneroo Districts Netball Association for players who competed at the 2025 Association Championships.
Selected athletes will represent WDNA in a 6-week competition, playing against other metro associations across Perth. This program includes:
1 training session per week
1 competitive game per week
High-quality coaching and athlete development
Opportunities to further enhance netball knowledge, skills, and game awareness
The Metro Development Program is an incredibly valuable step in our athlete development pathway and a vital part of progressing talented players toward higher-level netball opportunities.
Trial 1 – Sunday 30 August 2025
12 & Under: 3:00pm – 5:00pm
14 & Under: 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Trial 2 – Sunday 7 September 2025
16 & Under: 3:00pm – 5:00pm
20 & Under: 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Location: Wanneroo Districts Netball Association
Subject to weather, trials may be moved to an indoor venue within the local area.
Registrations for the 2025 Metro Development Program trials are by invitation only.
Athletes must have:
Participated in the 2025 Association Championships, and
Received a formal invitation to register

Woolworths NetSetGo is Australia’s leading grassroots netball program, designed for children aged 5-10 to experience the joy of netball in a fun, safe, and welcoming community.
Our mission is to develop confident, and active kids who will grow a lifelong love of team sport, all while building essential skills.
In this tier, children are introduced to the basics of netball through fun, simple activities that keep them moving and engaged.
This program will be held over 8 weeks and is run on Friday afternoons, 4:00 pm to 4:45 pm at the far courts at WDNA.
A courtesy email will be sent out 2-5 days prior to the start of this program, a Mud-map of the location at WDNA Courts, a Group No and meeting point for the first day of commencement.

REGISTRATIONS will close on 28th April 2025.
COST – $71.00 (plus Admin fees) and Netball Australia and Netball WA fees apply.
New Athletes (Includes NSG pack – once registered, the cost of the pack (approx $31) is non refundable if players withdraw from the program – plus the NA admin and service fee).
Please note: there is also a 1.49% transaction charge applied by PlayHQ at registration.
This is for players born between 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2020.
