Beginner Coaching Courses
New coaches to WDNA, who do not have a coaching accreditation must attend these courses. If coaches have previously attended in 2024 or 2025, then you do not need to attend again.
This is a hands on coaching session, designed specifically for beginner Coaches.
Each session will cover the following: Essential Skills – Correct technique for all ball skills, footwork and defensive body positioning – shooting and attacking skills.
All 2025 courses will be held at the WDNA Clubrooms then onto Court.
NSG SET & GO – Yr 2 to Yr 5:
Tuesday 23 September - 6pm to 8pm

JUNIORS/SENIORS - 11U to Open:
Wednesday 24 September - 6pm to 8pm

These courses are compulsory for new coaches to WDNA, who do not have any formal accreditation through Netball Australia.

Join us for an hour deep dive into Shooting, Midcourt, and Defence. Whether you’re a developing coach or simply hungry for fresh ideas, you’ll gain practical knowledge to share with your athletes.

Specialist Coach Course – MIDCOURT
Date & Time: Sunday, 5 October 2025 | 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Venue: Wanneroo Districts Netball Association*
Session Focus: Centre-pass strategies, transition play, support angles
Specialist Coach Course – DEFENCE
Date & Time: Sunday, 5 October 2025 | 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Venue: Wanneroo Districts Netball Association*
Session Focus: One-on-one defence, intercept timing, zone-cover principles
